  音 L54P1J.MP3[601KB]

RICK:

Hey! Martin! Over here.

MARTIN:

Hello.

RICK:

Hi. Rick James. Remember? We met this morning in the barbershop.

MARTIN:

Oh. Of course. How are you?

RICK:

Great. Come meet some of my friends.

MARTIN:

Thanks.

RICK:

Do you like your room?

MARTIN:

It's wonderful. And I like your aunt. She's very interesting.

RICK:

She is interesting, isn't she? Here we are.

RICK:

Listen, everybody.

RICK:

This is Martin. Sit here, Martin. Introduce yourselves. I'll get something to drink.

GLORIA:

Hi. I'm Gloria. What was your name again?

MARTIN:

Martin.

GLORIA:

This is Jackson.

JACKSON:

Hi. How are you doing?

MARTIN:

OK, thanks.

RICK:

Here's your drink. Have you met everyone?

MARTIN:

No, not everyone.

RICK:

It's noisy, isn't it?  Hey, Tony. How is the family? Are they back from their trip?

TONY:

Yes. They came yesterday.

RICK:

Did they like it?

TONY:

They loved it.

RICK:

Tony's mother and father went to Italy to see relatives. Is it hot enough for you?

TONY:

Not yet. I like it much hotter. It's good for business.

RICK:

Tony has boats at the Lake.

MARTIN:

What do you mean?

RICK:

He has boats for rent. You know, people go to the lake on weekends and holidays.

MARTIN:

Oh, I see.

RICK:

People don't rent boats in cool weather. Have you met Lady Macbeth?

MARTIN:

Pardon me?

RICK:

Have you met Lady Macbeth?

MARTIN:

I don't think so.

RICK:

Good. Excuse me.

BETH:

Yes.

RICK:

Martin, this is Lady Macbeth.

MARTIN:

I'm very happy to meet you, Lady Macbeth.

BETH:

Oh, don't be formal. Call me Beth.

MARTIN:

Is that short for Mac-beth.

BETH:

No, it's my real name. What was your name again?

MARTIN:

Martin.

BETH:

How are you?

MARTIN:

Very well, thank you.

MARTIN:

Is Lady Macbeth long for Beth?

BETH:

No. I'm playing Lady Macbeth at the theater.

MARTIN:

You're an actor. At Long Lake.

BETH:

Right. We're doing Macbeth this summer.

MARTIN:

Wonderful. It's one of my favorite plays by Shakespeare.

GLORIA:

Excuse me, Beth, we must go.

BETH:

Yes. It's late, isn't it?

MARTIN:

Maybe I'll see you at the theater tomorrow.

BETH:

Goodbye for now.

GLORIA:

See you.

MARTIN:

Good night.

RICK:

Good night, Gloria. Bye, Beth. Martin, can I get another drink for you?

MARTIN:

Let me. Anyone else? Tony, would you like a drink?

TONY:

No, thanks. Maybe later.
